Privacy Policy
This policy explains how TapCrow handles information when you play TapCrow games on Android or iOS or visit tapcrow.com. It applies to every game published under the TapCrow developer name on Google Play and the App Store (the “Games”), unless a game’s store listing links to a different policy.
1. Who we are
TapCrow is operated by Baklanov Oleksandr Vasylovych, a sole proprietor (FOP) registered in Ukraine, who is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@tapcrow.com.
2. What we collect
The Games don’t require an account. They don’t ask for your name, contacts, photos or precise location.
The Games, and the partners described in sections 4 and 5, collect:
- Device and app data: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone and app version.
- Identifiers: the Google advertising ID on Android; on iOS, the identifier for vendors and, only if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Network data: your IP address and the approximate location (country or region) derived from it.
- Ad interactions: which ads were shown, tapped or watched.
- Gameplay and diagnostics: progress, sessions, in-game events and crash reports.
Purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your card details; we only receive what’s needed to confirm and deliver a purchase, such as the product, a transaction ID, the date and the price.
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message.
Game progress is stored on your device.
3. How we use it
- To run the Games and deliver purchases.
- To show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure ad performance.
- To find and fix crashes and to improve the Games.
- To prevent fraud and abuse.
- To answer your messages.
- To meet our legal obligations.
4. Advertising
The Games are free and funded by ads. We use AppLovin MAX to show ads from AppLovin and from other advertising networks that AppLovin MAX connects to. These partners receive the data in section 2 directly from software (SDKs) inside the Games. They use it to show and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests (personalized ads).
Each partner handles data under its own privacy policy; see the AppLovin Privacy Policy.
Your choices:
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first open a Game, we ask for your consent to personalized ads and related data use. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy in each Game. Without consent you may still see ads, but they won’t be personalized.
- United States: some state laws treat sharing data with ad partners for personalized ads as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. You can opt out under Settings → Privacy in each Game.
- iOS: we access your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when the Game asks. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s Ads settings.
5. Analytics and crash reports
We use analytics and crash-reporting services to understand how the Games are played, tune difficulty and fix crashes. These services receive device and app data, identifiers, gameplay events and crash reports, and process them on our behalf.
6. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
- Consent: personalized ads, and storing or reading information on your device for advertising where the law requires consent.
- Legitimate interests: security and fraud prevention, crash reports, and improving the Games.
- Contract: delivering items you buy.
7. Sharing
We share information only with:
- the advertising, analytics and crash-reporting partners described above;
- Google and Apple, which run the stores and process purchases;
- Google Workspace, which we use for email;
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website;
- authorities, where the law requires it;
- a successor, if the Games are sold or transferred.
We don’t sell personal information for money. Sharing data with ad partners may count as “selling” or “sharing” under some US state laws; section 4 explains how to opt out.
8. International transfers
Our partners may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Retention
- Data on your device: until you delete the Game or its data.
- Emails: kept for up to 24 months after your request is resolved, then deleted.
- Analytics and crash data: kept for up to 14 months.
- Advertising partners: under their own retention policies.
10. Children
The Games are not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the higher age set by law in your country. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you access to your personal data, correct it, delete it or send you a copy, and you can ask us to restrict or stop using it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this doesn’t affect earlier use.
Residents of some US states can also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We won’t treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email support@tapcrow.com. Because the Games have no accounts, tell us which Game you play and include any ID shown under Settings → Privacy, so we can find your data. Deleting a Game removes the data stored on your device. We reply within one month in the EEA and UK, and within 45 days in the United States. You can also contact our advertising partners directly through their privacy policies, and you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
12. Security
We collect as little as we can. Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to the accounts that hold data. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
13. This website
tapcrow.com uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
14. Changes
When we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the Games.
